Epithalon
10mg
Epithalon is a synthetic peptide composed of two amino acids, L-glutamic acid and L-tryptophan. It was first developed in the Soviet Union in the 1970s as a potential treatment for aging. Although its exact mechanism of action is still being studied, Epithalon is thought to promote telomerase activity, which is an enzyme that helps to maintain the length of telomeres, the protective caps on the ends of chromosomes. Telomeres shorten with each cell division, and when they become too short, cells can no longer function properly and eventually die.
Potential Benefits of Epithalon
Epithalon has been shown to have a number of potential benefits in animal studies, including:
- Extend lifespan
- Improve cognitive function
- Increase resistance to stress
- Boost the immune system
- Protect against heart disease
- Delay the onset of age-related diseases
Human studies on Epithalon are limited, but some early results have been promising. For example, one study found that Epithalon improved cognitive function in older adults. Another study found that Epithalon helped to reduce stress levels in people with chronic fatigue syndrome.
How to Use Epithalon
Epithalon is typically taken orally in doses of 10-30 mg per day. It can be taken with or without food. There is no evidence that taking more Epithalon is more effective.
